5th DAY IN NEW YORK CITY!

My last day in New York City I went to see the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island and to Ellis Island. What a sight to see! I would recommend that everyone goes to New York City just once in your life to experience these wonderful sights of the United States of America!

The American Flag stands behind the Statue of Liberty!
I fed these pigeons on the Ferry!

This is the Miss New Jersey Ferry we rode across the Atlantic Ocean to see the Statue of Liberty!

4th DAY IN NEW YORK CITY!

Today I toured New York City all day. The weather was freezing cold - 12 degrees. I saw the Julliard School of Music, ate breakfast at Carnegie Deli and saw Carnegie Hall, walked through Central Park, went shopping at the Macy's department store (8 floors of clothes) and many other things too!
This is Ground Zero. The big crane is where they are building the memorial. This was a humbling experience that makes you grateful the United States is still here!
Fence around Ground Zero where they are building the monument.
I went to see Mary Poppins at the Amsterdam Theatre on Times Square!
Mary Poppins on Broadway! If you ever get a chance to see this Broadway Show, don't miss it. It was excellent!
I went to Wall Street (to find my money I have lost in the past year). This is the American Stock Exchange Building.
This is a band that was playing great music while I waited for the Subway!
This is Central Park. Very beautiful with snow. I also walked through the Tavern On The Green restaurant that is there (very expensive food)

I went to the David Letterman Theatre.

3rd DAY IN NEW YORK CITY!

Today I went to the top of the Empire State Building at dark. The view is incredible. It is something you must see at least once in your life!
This is one of the tour guides that showed me around the Empire State Building!
This is a corner of the whispering corner in Grand Central Station. You can turn in the corner and whisper something and the person across the room can hear you!
This is the clock in the center of the floor in Grand Central Station. It is worth 10 million dollars and has a hidden staircase under it that leads down to the subway!

2nd DAY IN NEW YORK CITY!

I rode the subway for the 1st time! What an adventure! It was dark, fast, and loud! But the only way to get anywhere fast in New York City!
This is the Brooklyn Bridge. It was snowing really hard but you can see it in the background!

This is the Radio City Music Hall!
This is the NBC News Building!
This is the Rockefeller Center! It was snowing and lots of people were ice skating.
This is the hole where the HUGE Christmas Tree stands at the Rockefeller Center!

This is St. Patrick's Cathedral! It is beautiful and huge!
Yes, this is all cheesecake! I learned something interesting about the food. There is no trans fat in food allowed in New York! However, if you eat at a franchise owned restaurant, they have to state how many calories are in the food item! So, yeah you really feel guilty eating the delicious food!
GRAND CENTRAL STATION!
This is Grand Central Station where I ate lunch. How do you ever know what train to get on???
I had meetings all day at the Roosevelt Hotel. This is the picture of it above. It is a gorgeous hotel!
Yes, this is trash on the street. There is no place for garbage cans on the street so the businesses put the garbage on the street at night. GROSS!!
