Catie graduated from 6th grade on May 27th. She will attend Mapleton Junior High School next year.

Camping Memorial Day Weekend!

We went camping Memorial Day weekend. Brooke and Catie pulled the kids in this wheelbarrow lid they found. Ann was the fire builder! We rode 4-wheeler's and ate lots of great food!

Catie takes Hip Hop Dance. She had a solo in her dance at the dance recital on May 19th. Of course, she was the tallest in her class!

Our neighbors across the street have 2 baby cows that are bottle fed. Brooke & Catie love to feed them!

Brooke finally got her deer head of her 1st deer she shot in October. She was pretty amazed!

New Baby Chicks!

The Easter Bunny brought 2 baby chicks to our house. They are yellow and red. Their names are banana and maple. Our cat Moose loves them! I'm sure he would like to taste them too! Brooke and Catie have had so much fun playing and caring for them. They will find a new home soon!

We are so ready for summer! We went camping at the sand dunes Friday night. The girls tried out their new helmets and goggles.

Memphis's Heating Pad

Memphis had surgery last week. She is recovering well. You can see her swollen tummy. She loves the heating pad. We can't keep her off of it!

Our Beloved Prophet!

Our family will truly miss our sweet yet humorous dear prophet. We are so thankful we were in his presence last October in the conference center for the Saturday afternoon session of General Conference. Grandpa Holliday from Mississippi and his brother Parley Holliday were also with us. We were there because Brooke sang in the Young Women's choir. What an honor to be near him during his last conference as our prophet. Ann, Brooke, and Catie also saw him for the last time in December at the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert! We love you President Hinckley!

Rexburg, Idaho LDS Temple

We decided we needed a road trip. It is so cold here at home in Utah. We have 2 feet of snow on the ground. We drove to Rexburg, Idaho on Friday, January 18, 2008. When we arrived in Rexburg, it was 9 degrees. (colder than Utah) This is what the temple looked like when we arrived in Rexburg Friday night!

We got up early Saturday morning and went inside the temple for the open house. It was snowing so hard and only 9 degrees. The temple is so beautiful inside! The theme was wheat representing all the wheat farmers in the area.

New Addition to our Family - Memphis

Merry Christmas!
Memphis is the new addition to our family. Memphis is a purebred siamese kitten. Santa brought her to our home. She is so much fun.

Caitlyn's 1st Violin Concert

Caitlyn started playing the violin in the school orchestra in September. Her 1st concert was in December. She is playing very well!
