Caitlyn & Mike went to the Hunting Show and Caitlyn decided she wanted to know what it feels like to sit on a bull. She got a huge surprise when the man started the button without her permission!

OUR CRAZY CAT! - Again

We love to play games as a family! Monday night for FHE, we decided to play Ann's favorite game - Rummikub. Duke decided to join us.

BROOKE'S CNA GRADUATION!

Brooklyn graduated from CNA school today! She loved every minute of it! We are so proud of you Brooke!

CATIE'S SEWING - PILLOWS!

Caitlyn has made so many cute things this semester in sewing at school. Her newest projects - pillows!

DUKE'S SURGERY!

Our siamese kitty, Duke, had surgery today to get fixed. He's not a man anymore! I really thought it would calm him down but I guess not - he decided to sleep in the dryer!

I closed the door - he decided to stay in!

NEW NEPHEW - MATIO!

Sweet Matio! Mike's Sister Linda has been waiting to adopt this baby boy for 7 years. They finally got him and brought him home on New Year's Day!

Brooke and Catie adore him - we all do really!

Mike had to talk Donald Duck to him so he would know his favorite uncle!

 Mike's amazing sister Linda and "some" of her kids holding new baby Matio! He will be dearly loved!
We are so thankful for adoption - where would I be without it?

CHRISTMAS DAY AT THE HOLLIDAY'S!

We went to Uncle Parley and Aunt Janie Holliday's to spend the day Christmas Day! We ate lots of wonderful southern food and played games and opened gifts. What a great day!

CHRISTMAS KITTY!

Duke is ready for Christmas! His new favorite place to sleep is on the kitchen table - big NO NO!

BROOKE'S CHRISTMAS PROJECT!

Brooke made this quilt for Jared for Christmas! It was a lot of work and she did a wonderful job!

CHRISTMAS EVE!

We had the Madsen's to our house for Christmas Eve! Melissa brought her bird and it really liked sitting on Mike's hat!

 We had a great time opening white eleplant gifts. Mike was excited about his popcorn!

The highlight of the night was this snowman Ann gave as a white elephant. Mattie got it and she was so excited!

SNOW DAY!

This is a 18 inch ruler. At 7am - we already had 12 inches! School was cancelled after Caitlyn went to early morning seminary and Mom didn't have to go to work!

Ann got both cars stuck in the driveway!

We went to Spanish Fork to the festival of lights!

BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!

This year the Madsen Family decided to do an extreme home makeover for our dear family friend and her kids. We started Friday afternoon at 3:30pm and worked until Saturday night at 7pm.

DAVID ARCHULETA CHRISTMAS CONCERT!

The Salt Lake City Temple and lights at temple square. We got to the concert early enough to walk around temple square and enjoy the beautiful music and lights!

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. The decorations were unbelievable!

David Archuleta was amazing! We had wonderful seats on the floor! He has the strongest voice ever!
