LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Today was Brooke and Catie's last day of school. They celebrated by making music together and partying all day! Both are straight "A" students. Can't believe Brooke will be a senior next year and Catie will be a Freshman! We are looking forward to a wonderful summer!

OUR GARDEN IS GROWING!

Our garden is growing. We have planted peppers, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, peas, brocolli, radishes and carrots.

SUPERCROSS!

Catie and Mike went to Supercross in Salt Lake City and yes, it poured rain. They still had a great time together!

BROOKLYN'S PROM!

Brooke went to Maple Mountain High School Prom with Jared Crockett. They were gorgeous! They had dinner at Tepanyaki Steak House and then went to Sundance Ski Resort for the dance. She had a great time! Thanks Jared!

BABY HORSE!

We went to play with this baby horse today. Mike's friend (Justin) has this baby. Her Mom died during birth a week ago. She is so sweet and loves people. She is the true meaning of Spring!

BUTTERFLIES!

Today is the day we have been waiting for! The larvae turned to beautiful butterflies! We have had so much fun watching these everyday for the past 2 weeks. The butterflies are beautiful!

CATIE'S 14th BIRTHDAY!

Today is Caitlyn's 14th birthday. She got new clothes, a watch, money, a remodeled room, a darling name sign for her room, etc. Although she woke up to it snowing outside - it was a wonderful day! We love you Goose!

Bowling!

Catie & Brooke bowling. This year for spring break we had to be creative in finding things to do because the weather was so bad outside. We shopped a lot, went bowling, went to the movie and to lunch. Maybe next year during spring break, we will have spring weather!

BUTTERFLIES!

Today we took the larve and transferred them to the butterfly mesh house. This is day 10. We have enjoyed watching these larvae everyday. They changed so fast. Now they are in their cacoons. We hope to have butterflies flying around in the cage in another week.

KITTY KAT MOOSE!

We shaved out kitty kat moose! Brooke thinks he is so ugly but I know he loves it. He can actually succeed at taking a bath! He has such long thick hair! He looks like a lion! We love you MOOSE!

OUR GARDEN!

We decided to have a garden this summer since we love vegetables! We built these fancy planter boxes and then filled them with dirt. It has been so much work already! Mike and Caitlyn tilled the dirt and planted our first seeds - peas!

BROOKLYN'S BABIES ARRIVED!

These are Brooke's 5 babies. They are butterfly larvae! We will keep you posted until they turn into butterflies!

EASTER 2010

We colored Easter eggs but could not hide them outside because we woke up to 5 inches of snow!

CAITLYN'S NEW ROOM!

I painted Caitlyn's room. It is so cute. Pink Pastel walls with one Melon accent wall-New quilt, pillows, lamp, etc. Happy Early Birthday Catie!

SUPERBOWL 2010!

I am so excited that the Colts are going to the Superbowl! I love Austin Collie because he played for BYU! He has had an incredible season as his 1st in the NFL! GO COLTS! Beat the Saints!

20TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!

Mr. & Mrs. Mike & Ann Madsen

The past 20 years have been amazing for Mike and I. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 13, 1990 really early in the morning. We had a wonderful sealing and then a wedding breakfast. Our reception was held in Orem, Utah later that evening. We decorated with trees with lights on them and a huge sleigh to hold all the gifts. 2 weeks later, we flew to Mississippi to have another reception. 

The following is a brief description of the past 20 years. 

December 1991 - Ann graduated from BYU! September 15, 1992 - Brooklyn Ann was born. March 1994 - We purchased our 1st home in Orem, Utah. April 22, 1996 - Caitlyn Annette was born. April 2002 - we purchased our second home in Springville, Utah. October 2005 - we purchased our third home in Mapleton, Utah. We have always been blessed with great employment and being able to provide for our family. We love the outdoors - camping, riding 4-wheelers, snowmobiling, hunting, hiking in the mountains, working in the yard, planting a garden, and everything else that is outside. But most of all, we enjoy being together! I love you Mike! Thanks for the best 20 years of my life. I hope we have many more together! (These are our engagement pictures. We haven't changed much, have we?)

CHRISTMAS DAY 2009!

  Santa found our house! He always brings too much. We are so blessed!

Brooklyn got this new Precious Moments collectible doll from Grandma!She also got clothes, a camera, money, a laptop, a zebra purse, games, movies, and the list goes on.

We went to the Holliday's for brunch. We had a such a fun time eating and eating again and laughing.

We had a wonderful Christmas. The best part was being together as a family and giving to each other. What a wonderful time of year!
